Although there are currently fewer delays than in the days leading up to Christmas, Royal Mail is still having problems. The company says it is doing its best to deliver packages across the UK, but several parts of the country are currently affected.
Not all mail was processed or dispatched on time in the past 24 hours at some post centers.
As a result, mail in these areas may be delivered a little later than expected, according to Royal Mail.
The affected mail centers are listed below.
South Midlands Mail Center: Some mail posted to other parts of the UK on Friday is due for delivery today to addresses in the CV, LE, MK and NN postcode areas.

Chester Mail Center: Some mail posted to other parts of the UK on Friday, is due today to addresses in the CH, LL and SY postcode areas.
Birmingham Mail Center: Some mail posted to other parts of the UK on Friday, is due for delivery today to addresses in postcode areas B, HR and WR.
Warrington Mail Center: Some mail posted to other parts of the UK on Friday, is due for delivery today to addresses in the CW, L, WA and WN postcode areas.
Croydon Mail Center: some mail posted to other parts of the UK on Friday, is due today to addresses in the postcode areas BR, CR, SE and SM.
As for deliveries, Royal Mail said they were operating normally across most of the country today, December 30.
However, there are delays in some areas.
This is due to self-isolation linked to Covid, high levels of sickness absence, resources or other local factors.
Commenting on the postal codes affected, Royal Mail said on its website: ‘We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
“We will regularly inform customers of the most affected offices here. “

Royal Mail delays over the Christmas period affected parcels from some Brits.
As a result, some customers have expressed their frustration on social media today.
Twitter user Bethan Redman wrote: “@RoyalMail, it really looks like my package has been delivered, has it just been thrown somewhere with a bunch of other packages? Where’s my package ? I waited almost three weeks.
Katarina Salmon commented, “@RoyalMail I’m still awaiting news of a missing package request. It’s been four weeks.
Tara Atkinson added: “I can understand that there are staff issues, but they need better organization – even posting every few days would be a big improvement!
